BEAR's Story...
BEAR just in. He is a little camera shy, so we'll get some better pictures this weekend. Some ass-wipe surrendered this beautiful 7 year old boy. He was a little unsure at first what all was going on with being dumped, then being on the list for euthanasia, then tagged by our group and travelling 2 days to get here. Bear is settling in nicely. He walks great on leash and is just happy to be with his people. His records said that he was particularly fond of a 10 year old volunteer and a staff favorite. Please give this guy a new lease on life with a great home in Colorado.  FOSTER HOME NEEDED.  For an application or additional information, please call/text 303-882-0837 or email dancingdogrescue@earthlink.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BEAR, a Littleton German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Littleton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Littleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Littleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Littleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Littleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
