I am Gilligan and I don't know how I ended up in a rural TN shelter, but I did! I can shake, I can sit and I love every person and dog! I am just about 1 year old and about 40 pounds. Nobody knows for sure what my breed is, but I have some kind of sight hound(basenji) coloring and body shape; a deep auburn with tall white socks ..I have very long legs on my sleek body. I have a tail that curls up over my back, so a basenji mix is our best betI could probably put on a few pounds, but lots of sighthounds look thin, but that is truly our body shape....who know? My foster mom says this about me " He is fantastic. Very sweet and loving. Good with dogs and kids. Just wants to cuddle on the couch with you. Yesterday was the first day he started to play with a toy. He likes to chase a ball. He is active, but not high energy. He knows how to sit on command. He is quiet. He walks pretty well on a leash. He is crate trained. I leave him out of the crate all night long and he doesn't tear anything up or go potty. House-trained. Basically, the perfect dog! " Did you read that ?? She said I was "the perfect dog!", you don't know how happy that makes me....I try hard to please, and I guess it's working!
