Duke's Story...
Meet Duke! Duke is a 1 year old, approximately 40 lb Blue Heeler/Lab mix with so much potential! Duke gets along great with other dogs, prefers a home without cats or small children (he can be very hyper!) but is such a great boy! He was surrendered because in his last family, there was an autistic little boy and Duke was just too playful with him! Duke would do great with children older than toddler aged, and has been a house-dog all his life! Duke is heartworm negative and ready to go home! Don’t miss your chance to give Duke a great home!

Adoption fee is $150 and includes vaccinations, microchip, monthly prevention, heartworm check, and neuter! Contact Molly's Mutts at mollysmuttsanimalrescue@yahoo.com to request an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Dixon Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dixon, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dixon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dixon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dixon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dixon paves the way for another one to be saved.
