My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leo is not at the Medfield Shelter. He was in the care of New England Saint Bernard Rescue but their founder passed away so we are trying to help his foster mom find him a suitable home. She has been fostering him for two months and would be happy to tell potential adopters with experience training a dog, more about him. Please contact Sherryl, with all inquiries: beastmom_3@yahoo.com

Leo is a handsome, active and playful Leonberger mix. He is two years old and is up-to-date on all his vet care. He is very devoted to his foster mom and looks to her for direction. Although she can take toys and food from him, he can be a bit protective of his things around people he doesn't know. His foster mom says he is an overgrown lap dog, great on leash and loves tug toys. He loves to run and play and needs a yard with at least a five foot fence. He does need time to adjust to new people and new environments, so is not a good fit for a busy household. And he cannot live with cats. He needs an experienced owner that can show him leadership and expose him to a lot more people, noises and places.

His foster mom would be more than happy to tell you more about him if you email her at : beastmom_3@yahoo.com
