From foster mom: Gordo was found running loose at a busy intersection in Irving, TX, by a rescuer. We posted his picture on some local pet lost and found internet sites, but no one came forward to claim him. We couldn't bring ourselves to take him to the local animal shelter since it is a kill shelter, so we are getting him fully vetted and trying to find a loving home for him on our own.
We think he's about 2-3 years old & weighs about 18 lbs. Although he pretty much has the run of my house all day (along with my own dogs & fosters) he doesn't mind being crated. They all willingly go get in their bed/crates every night, and he never makes a sound. He loves, loves, loves to be in a lap and he is very affectionate. He gets along with all my dogs and all people. He's very sweet.
If you'd like to meet this sweet boy, please fill out an application at www.ehrdogs.org and be sure to mention his name - GORDO TEXAS!
