I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Meet Charlie, a little cutie patootie who ended up in a Florida shelter after have been rescued from the streets of Miami. He was adopted from the shelter by a kind family and after a few months, made the move to Montreal with them. Charlie’s unknown past started catching up with him, however, and he began showing intolerance to the family’s young children. Very reluctantly, Charlie was surrendered to Kiko’s care so that we could find him a more suitable home. Estimated to be around 3 years of age, little Charlie weighs in at 8.5 pounds, and appears to be a Maltese or similar mix. Since arriving at his foster home, Charlie has been a star! He gets along well with everyone, including the foster family’s dog and cat, although as with his former family, does appear more comfortable around women than men. Charlie is housetrained, and seems to like the comfort of his crate when left alone. He is not a big barker, so could be suitable for an apartment or condo, and is described as very sweet. Being a ladies’ man, we have promised Charlie a new home with a female presence and without young children. If you think Charlie could be the new man in your life, please complete an adoption questionnaire at www.kikodogrescue.ca. Charlie will be at our next adoption day at Mon Ami in Kirkland on Saturday, October 22 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Details with a link to a map can be found on our website.
