Facts about Molly

  • Breed: Doberman Pinscher/German Shorthaired Pointer Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 39
Molly’s heartless family abandoned her and her buddy (a Malamute) when they decided to move, kick the dogs out of the house and leave them behind. An evil neighbor SHOT AND KILLED the Malamute and they were threatening to shoot Molly, but a friendly neighbor called animal control and saved her life. We can only imagine the fear and horror she felt since the day she was left behind. Howlin 4 HELP pulled this kind-hearted, friendly Doberman mix from the shelter and she is currently living in a foster home where she gets along great with the other dogs and even the cats. She is approximately 2 years old and her tail is docked to about 5 inches long. Her foster family is familiar with Dobermans and they say she is very much a typical Velcro Doberman personality. The best home for Molly would be with people that have some knowledge of dobes and are experienced animal owners. Molly does not like to be hugged so we will not adopt her to a family with small kids or grandkids. She is very athletic and can jump most fences, but she is completely trained on the underground fence at her foster home. Molly now needs her very own family to show her what true love and commitment is. For an application, email Christine@Howlin4help.com

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with an adopter completing an adoption application that requires a vet reference and personal references. An adopter's current pets must all be up to date on shots as well as spayed or neutered. Once all of the information in the application is confirmed and references are checked, Howlin 4 HELP Rescue will schedule a home visit with the potential adopter. All dogs will have their age appropriate shots, rabies, worming, microchipping and be spayed or neutered -except those with certain medical conditions that may prevent this basic care. Puppies will have age appropriate shots and must be spayed or neutered by six months of age with a vet letter.
