This poor girl's story just breaks our heart. She was once an indoor dog before her heartless family abandoned her and her buddy (a Malamute) when they decided to move, kick the dogs out of the house and leave them behind. An evil neighbor SHOT AND KILLED her buddy and they were threatening to shoot Molly, but a friendly neighbor called animal control in the hopes of saving her. We can only imagine the fear and horror she felt since the day she was left behind. Howlin 4 HELP pulled this very tall and very friendly doberman mix from the shelter and she is currently living in a foster home. She has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and we are happy to report she is HW NEGATIVE! We are now taking applications for her adoption. She is good with all the other dogs in the foster home, but we always recommend SLOW introductions. She is also good with cats. She is approximately 2 years old, but already has a few white whiskers, no doubt from all the stress she has recently endured. Her tail is docked to about 5 inches. Her foster family is familiar with Dobermans and they say she is very much a typical kind and loving, velcro Doberman personality so it would be great if her adopter had some knowledge of the breed.. We are only guessing that she might have some lab in her too. Molly is very athletic and can jump most fences, but she is completely trained on the underground fence at her foster home. Molly needs her very own family now to show her what true love and commitment is. Could you be that special person to help heal Molly's broken heart? Please consider adopting this wonderful dog so she will have a reason to celebrate this holiday season. For an application, email

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with an adopter completing an adoption application that requires a vet reference and personal references. An adopter's current pets must all be up to date on shots as well as spayed or neutered. Once all of the information in the application is confirmed and references are checked, Howlin 4 HELP Rescue will schedule a home visit with the potential adopter. All dogs will have their age appropriate shots, rabies, worming, microchipping and be spayed or neutered -except those with certain medical conditions that may prevent this basic care. Puppies will have age appropriate shots and must be spayed or neutered by six months of age with a vet letter.
