Bucky in Houston's Story...
Meet Bucky! He is just a cute young man looking for love! He is about 8 months old and when grown should weigh about 18-19 pounds. All his vet work is done. Bucky is just a happy, easy going, loving little dog. Because he is still a puppy, he will need an owner who can give him a lot of attention. Even at his young age he seems to be house trained. But... he's a puppy and likes to chew things. His owner will have to be patient. No kids. No cats. No other male dogs. Adopter must be able to drive to Houston. Adoption fee is 200 dollars. Home visit and vet check mandatory. If you are interested in this precious baby please fill out the online application on www.russellrescue.com. Contact jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bucky in Houston, a Houston Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
