My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ POPPET Female 2 years & AVAILABLE Only 20 lbs - for more photos of POPPET please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/poppet_2016.html ✰✰

Say hello to POPPET! Sometimes we see dogs at shelters when we are picking up other dogs and we can’t resist! Lucky POPPET was present when we were picking up the Into the Woods puppies. This foster mom just could not leave her behind as she looked straight into my heart. She has strong BC markings, though her stature is much smaller. Nonetheless she runs and bounds like an agility dog! We have ground and first floor crates for the dogs to sleep in and she jumps up to the landing to occupy an upper level crate where she sleeps quietly through the night.

POPPET is truly a wonderful little dog (she weighs about 20 lbs). Fun and playful, happy and a good companion, our POPPET would be great for anyone looking for a little buddy. She loves to cuddle! POPPET is about 2 years old with a smooth, easy care coat. She has been an excellent house guest. She is housebroken and not a chewer or digger and not tall enough to be a counter surfer! POPPET gets along well with all of the big dogs at her foster home as well as Into the Woods puppies before they were adopted. She is good with resident cat Pucklechurch and wants to befriend everyone who comes to visit. She is a bit shy upon initial meeting and is apt to freeze up when you first approach her, but she’s warmed to us in just a few days. She now comes running into the kitchen with the rest of the dogs (if not leading the pack) when she hears the snacky bone container being opened! POPPET would be love to meet you and discuss your future together!

POPPET is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about POPPET, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

POPPET is being fostered in Auburn in Placer County, California.
