Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Corky a.k.a. "the Corkster" will win your heart in a second flat. He's 2 years old and weighs just over 7 pounds. He is cautious around strangers and it takes time to win his trust. He will do best in an adult only home. If it isn't his adorable brown spot and ears, his cuddly nature, or his soft fuzzy hair that wins you over, it will be his friendliness with other dogs or fondness of nature as he is a happy little hiker and camper! Corky is learning to sit, come, "up", and "no lick" and "no bark" commands. He loves peanut butter and licking your face! He enjoys many activities including snuggling, wrestling his foster brother for a toy, and hiking some elevation outdoors. (An adoption donation of $300 is required.)
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
