Poppy is an adorable, 5 month old, calico kitten. Poppy loves to play with toys. While initially shy Poppy spent time in foster care and was able to come out of her shell and be more confident. She is still timid in new situations, around fast movements, and around loud noises so it will be best for her forever home to be free of small children but if you spend the time getting her comfortable in her new home she will become a great companion. If Poppy sounds like the right fit for you please come in and meet her today! Primary Color: Calico Weight: 4.2 Age: 0yrs 5mths 1wks
Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome close to 5,000 pets each year. Every animal leaves here spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.
We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of 94%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.
In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
