zzBubba is an 18 month old heeler mix who I rescued as a puppy along the I-35 service road in Oak Cliff where I live. He's a super smart boy who has learned many commands like sit, shake, roll over, stay. He's a great athlete and would love to learn Frisbee or Agility. He is neutered, HW negative, and up to date on shots. He walks on a leash pretty well and is house and crate trained. He knows so many words, knows names for his different toys, really loves learning. He has also learned that he can clear a 4' chain link fence so he will require a home with a 6' fence or to be leash walked. He is shy of new people and new dogs but has worked with a trainer who has helped him become more confident. The other day I took him to the car wash with me and he did great. He appreciates someone who doesn't mind sitting on the floor to get acquainted. After that he's your new best friend!
My home only has a 4' fence so I have been leash walking him for several months but due to complications from a prior hip fracture I require another surgery and won't be able to continue to do that with him.
