REQUEST TO MEET STELLA HERE!

There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

Stella has to be one of the nicest dogs in the Atlanta area. This incredibly sweet and well behaved Boxer and American Bulldog mix is just 5 years old, spayed, up to date on her shots, and extremely healthy.

Stella is SO LOVING! She lives just to be near her humans. She has undergone extensive obedience training, and has blossomed into such a polite dog. Her life seems to revolve around pleasing her owner and getting lots of cuddles and belly rubs.

Stella is currently being cared for by her foster owner. Tragically, her owner has become very ill, and can no longer care for her. Her foster owner is dearly hoping to find Stella a wonderful home where she will cherished and well cared for the rest of her days.

Stella’s ideal home will be one where she is the only pet. Around other dogs, Stella is an “Alpha”, and although she gets along with most dogs, they often don’t take kindly to her wanting to be top dog. Stella has never been around cats, but shows a lot of interest in chasing squirrels and other small creatures, so may want to add chasing cats to her resume. For these reasons, it is best that she be the only pet in the home.

Got kids? She loves them! She is the ultimate family dog. She is gentle and kind with children and adults alike. Such a good girl.

Stella and her foster owner are hoping to find her a loving family who own their own home with a securely fenced back yard. Ideally they would have lots of time to spend with her. She loves to go on walks and is leash trained to perfection. Stella is crate trained, so can be on her own for a few hours each day. She does want a family that will give her lots of attention and love when they get home, though.

Stella would also be a fantastic choice for active retired people looking for a companion. She is happy to hang out with you and does not need a ton of exercise. She does like a good daily walk, though. She also LOVES going places in the car.

Please help bring a happy ending to this tragic situation and offer Stella the loving home she needs and very much deserves. She is one of those dogs that make you feel 100% loved and appreciated.

About Atlanta Find My Pet A Home

About Our Rescue Group...

In many locations throughout the USA and Canada, shelters are rescues are filled to capacity, leaving pet owners who can no longer care for their pet with nowhere to turn. Many pets are needlessly being euthanized.

Being placed in a shelter is a very stressful experience for all pets - and their owners. We offer a very good alternative, allowing pets to stay in the loving care of their owners while a new home is located for them.

We have helped many pet owners in need to place their pet in a home where they have great peace of mind in knowing that their pet is being cherished, well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

In most instances, our pets stay with their owners until a new home can be located. There are some situations which require a more urgent placement, and in these instances, we look for loving foster homes to care for these pets until a permanent home can be located.

Pets available for adoption can be viewed on our website at http://findmypetahome.com

Our Adoption Process...

When a pet is placed with our organization, our staff create a very honest and compelling adoption story about the pet, using the information provided to us.

We then spread the word about this pet's need for a new home through a wide variety of online services, and through local outreach.

Interested parties are directed to fill out a formal request to meet a pet, providing in-depth information about themselves.

Before a potential adopter is introduced to a pet, we do careful reference screening and a criminal records check.

Should the pet's owner and the adoptive party agree to an adoption, a formal agreement is entered into, requiring the new owner to agree to keep in touch, ensure the pet's physical and emotional well-being, and provide a safe, happy and healthy home.

They are required to agree that they will not surrender the pet to a shelter or give away the pet - but rather they are to contact our organization so that we can find another suitable home, in the event that they are unable to fulfill their commitment.

The owners deliver the pet to the new owners, so that they can do a home inspection prior to leaving the pet in the new owner's care.

Our organization provides follow-up services, contacting the new owners after the first week, and then every 45 days for the first nine months post-adoption. This helps ensure the pet is being well cared for, and that the new owners have any support they need in adjusting to life with their new companion,
