Yoda (Neutered)'s Story...
"Yoda" is cute adult male Yorkshire Terrier who arrived at the HSOV on October 7, 2016 after he was picked up in the Cutler Ohio area by the Washington County Dog Warden. This little guy has a brown/tan/black long smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with characteristic features of the Yorkie breed including scruffy whiskers and large erect ears. "Yoda" is a friendly fellow who is full of playful energy. He was much too busy exploring the fall flowers and bales of straw to pause for photographs :) "Yoda" weighs 11.8 lbs. He is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed. "Yoda" has been neutered, and he has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda (Neutered), a Marietta Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
