Miss Daisy is a very sweet and loving 5 year old Chhuahua mix that was adopted from the Cullman Animal Shelter in 2011, at the age of two months. She came to Fairy Dogmother when her person was no longer able to care for her. Miss Daisy comes with her lifetime medical record. She loves people, including children. She likes to fetch and follow her person thru the house. Daisy loves a soft bed and is a good little watch dog (she weighs 10 pounds).
Daisy had a spinal injury years ago and now has a unique gait. She runs and walks very well and requires no medication. It is recommended that she wear a harness instead of a collar for walking. Daisy enjoys short walks on leash, but her left paw gets tired on long walks and the top of the paw can become skinned when walking on pavement. She uses the left paw very well on a smooth floor, but tends to favor it on carpet or in grass. Daisy is able to climb stairs, but should not be allowed to try to go down the stairs.
Daisy's adoption fee is a tax deductible donation to the rescue in the amount of $250.
