Rowdy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rowdy's Story...
Rowdy is one of the happiest little pups you will ever meet!! We believe he is a JRT/Heeler mix. He is approximately 8 months old and weighs 20lbs. He absolutely loves EVERYONE he meets. You could call him the "Walmart Greeter" who has never met a stranger! Rowdy loves to play with toys, people, other dogs, and even by himself. He is a little energizer bunny who is always up for playtime. He is doing excellent with housebreaking (very few accidents in the house) and is crate trained. He is not a big barker, but he is definitely big on energy, playing, and giving hugs and kisses to his humans. Rowdy would love to go to an active home!! If you are interested in adding Rowdy to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. Rowdy is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowdy, a Staunton Jack Russell Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
