MOCHA is a 5 yr old Chocolate Lab who was used for breeding in an Amish Farm. She was especially attached to the family's autistic 14 yr old boy whom she followed around the farm. Mocha is currently in a foster home with several other labs and is doing well. She is learning house manners - such as don't jump up and walking on leash. She LOVES people and we would like a home for her where she can be social.

A note from her foster mom: 'She's a very sweet girl, loves living in doors, great with other dogs, is now completely house trained, adapting to house rules but still needs continued training, picking up very well on learning commands, very smart. Loves being snuggled. Working on living inside manners , going well but definitely a work in progress. Loves adults and children,  shouldn't live with cats. Again, very sweet, living girl!'

mocha has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and her bloodwork looks great. Heartworm negative. She did have a skin & ear infection upon arrival - both of which are being treated. If you're interested in adding Mocha to your family please fill out an application at www.companimals.org  Once approved we will set up a meet & greet with her foster family. Adoption $200.

About CompAnimals Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

Please visit www.CompAnimal.org for more information about the adoption process and our fees. Our application is online, and relatively quick and painless to fill out.
We are a small all volunteer organization. Your e-mail wiil typically receive a quicker response than your phone call.
