CHANCE was originally picked up as a stray and then adopted into a family that was in a crisis. There was a lot of yelling and some violence which has led him to not be trusting of men - he will nip at their feet. Chance needs a stable adult-only home where he can gain confidence and, even though he is a little fluff all, he needs to do the things that dogs enjoy. Chance loves to explore the farm of his foster family and he is great with the dogs that come there too. He is smart and will in to learn!

Chance has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested heartworm negative. If you are interested in adding Chance to your family please fill out an application at Once approved, a meet and greet will be set up at Chance's foster home. Adoption $200.

About CompAnimals Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

Please visit for more information about the adoption process and our fees. Our application is online, and relatively quick and painless to fill out.
We are a small all volunteer organization. Your e-mail wiil typically receive a quicker response than your phone call.
