Tips's Story...
Tips is an 11 week old kitten. Tips was a bottle baby and also cared for by a nanny dog, so she is dog friendly. She also gets along well with other cats. She and her two litter mates were found under a tree at approximately 10 days of age and caring citizens brought them in to the local Petco, who contacted SPF. Tips is playful and loving to people, but she rules the roost among all the cats and dogs. She has a huge purr-sonality and is very entertaining. Her foster family includes a 6 year old, so she is experienced with children as well. She is just a darling little girl with unique markings, earning her the name of Tips. Accepting pre-adoption applications. A safety homecheck, landlord approval if renting, and an adoption fee of $80 is required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and proof of disability. A meet and greet may be arranged by contacting shannon@sierrapacificfurbabies.com or 707-441-9502

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tips, a Eureka Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eureka, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Eureka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eureka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eureka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eureka paves the way for another one to be saved.
