Lefty's Story...
Lefty is an 11 week old kitten. Lefty was a bottle baby and also cared for by a nanny dog, so he is dog friendly. He also gets along well with other cats. He and his two litter mates were found under a tree at approximately 10 days of age and caring citizens brought them in to the local Petco, who contacted SPF. Lefty is playful and loving. He enjoys giving little kisses but also enjoys tackling your toes. He is quite the character. He is the largest of the litter. His foster family includes a 6 year old, so he is experienced with children as well. He is just a darling little boy with unique markings. when found he was squinting out of his left eye, so he was named Lefty by the vet staff. Accepting pre-adoption applications. A safety homecheck, landlord approval if renting, and an adoption fee of $80 is required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and proof of disability. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lefty, a Eureka Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eureka, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Eureka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eureka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eureka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eureka paves the way for another one to be saved.
