Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scarlett was recently rescued from an ultra high kill shelter on the day she was listed to be killed. The day after she was rescued, she was rushed into emergency surgery for pyometra, and fortunately survived. She was ill at the time with an upper respiratory infection acquired at the shelter, which had gone unmedicated, and a bad case of ear mites. Being a tenacious fighter with a strong will to live, she survived. Scarlett is extremely affectionate and loving. She has a gravelly meow and is a huge talker, always excited to greet you and tell you how much she missed you since she last saw you. She travels well, but chats the whole way. Scarlett gets along with other cats. We do not know if she is dog friendly. This unusually marked young girl is anxiously awaiting a loving home where she can smother you with love "furever." An application, safety homecheck, landlord approval if renting, and adoption fee of $80 is required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and proof of disability. Contact shannon@sierrapacificfurbabies.com or 707-441-9502 to meet the lovely Scarlett in all her red-gold radiance.
