Pittney is approximately 9 months old (Oct 2016), spayed, super sweet, eager to please, completely non aggressive, female pit mix. She has many loves: chasing her tennis balls, kids (she adores kids and they her), riding in the car, walks (she currently gets 2 a day), water in her children's pool, training and affection.
We've been her foster since end of July and she needs a great home. We named her Pittney. Would gladly keep her but have 9 yr old Rottie and he isn't excited about the idea. She would thrive in a family with kids, best if able to be inside and outside, is high energy and needs exercise. She's been working on training and learns quickly, eager to please and responds extremely well to praise.
She would make a great agility or hunting dog for someone who wanted to train her for such.
If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Pittney is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
