Josie's Story...
Sweet Josie was picked up as a stray with her brother who has already been adopted and now Josie is waiting patiently for her very own family. She is currently living in a foster home where she gets along great with the other dogs and the cats. Her foster mom reports that she is extremely smart and is doing GREAT at learning new skills! She gets along with all the other dogs in the house and loves to snuggle with her foster dad. There are not enough words to describe what a good dog Josie has turned out to be. She is happy, loving, loyal, playful, quiet, snuggly and house trained! If you are looking for a great dog to add to your family, look no further...Josie is the one for you! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Somonauk Rottweiler/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Coonhound for sale in Somonauk, or seeking a Rottweiler/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Somonauk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somonauk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somonauk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Coonhound breeders who help with Rottweiler/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somonauk paves the way for another one to be saved.
