My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a laid back rotti and goes with the flow with whatever you want to do. She was taken to the kill shelter when her owner died and his family said they couldn't care for her. Rottweilers of Las Vegas pulled her and she is currently in boarding and participates in doggie daycare. She is a bit overweight and will need to lose a few pounds. Although she is not aggressive at all, she plays a little rough and could accidentally hurt a small dog, so prefer a home with another calm large dog, probably male would be best. She had a male rotti in daycare that she claimed as her boyfriend and was sad when he went home. Dakota just turned 7 years young, DOB 9/27/09 and AKC registered. Because of her weight issue, it is putting a lot of pressure on her legs so sometimes if she runs or tries to play, she will hurt her front leg and may limp a little. So it is important that she is put on a diet and gets plenty of easy exercise. Swimming would be good for her because it is easy on her joints. We are not quite sure how she will do with cats so probably to be safe, she shouldn't be in a home with cats.
