Beast's Story...
Beast is not a beast at all. He's a friendly 2 year old mix that arrived at Friendship with another dog named Beauty. Their owner had a change in lifestyle and could no longer keep them. Unfortunately she didn't give any information on either dog. Beast barks in his cage but it's only to get out and visit. Once out of his kennel, he's a Teddy Bear. Beast is a nice dog that just wants to get back into a loving home. Stop by soon to visit and adopt.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beast, a Elyria American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Elyria, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
