Bellamy's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Bellamy's Story...
Bellamy was found abandoned with another dog (Chaney) and brought to Friendship by police officer and FAPL volunteer Rick Broz. He's a young adult mix that was an outdoor dog. He's a friendly fellow that is appreciative to any kindness he receives. A social butterfly too, Bellamy will be a wonderful pet once he receives a little guidance. Beware because Bellamy will definitely steal your heart.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bellamy, a Elyria American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Elyria, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
