Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our darling little puppy Poppet is ready to begin her search for a happy and loving home of her own. Little Poppet has never experienced such a home, so she's eager to find out what it's all about. She came to us with several of her friends who were rescued by our AHS Newark facility from a dreadful situation. They were living in tiny cages, covered in feces and starving to near death. We don't know how Poppet, the youngest of the group, survived, but are thrilled to see the wonderful puppy that she has blossomed into. Poppet is now 5 months old and is just a little doll. She is playful, energetic, and super sweet. She is so happy to make new friends and though she's a little shy at first, Poppet comes alive when you show her some attention, treat her with kindness, or squeak a toy at her. Once she gets comfortable with you, it's all fun and games. She will need basic puppy training and will need a home with no children under 10 since she can be a little mouthy when she gets excited, but she is a fast learner and such a little lovebug. Poppet gets along just fine with other dogs too and would bring so much joy and happiness to the good family that welcomes her home. File#26552 8/9/16
