Who can turn the world on with her purr? Well, Mary Tyler Moore can! This lovely black and white girl comes with yellow/green eyes. Her sweetness is only overshadowed by her love of a lap. This girl could make a career out of lap lounging. M.T.M. will chat a bit and has a soft rumbling purr. She will play some, but snuggling in a lap just seems more important to her. She is a delight to be around and she will help you make it after all. Come by for a cuddle session with M.T.M. soon.

About The San Francisco SPCA

About Our Shelter...

Founded in 1868, the San Francisco SPCA is the nation's fourth humane society and the first west of the Mississippi. We have become one of San Francisco's most enduring and respected institutions, as well as a national leader in saving homeless cats and dogs.

Each year, The SF/SPCA find homes for thousands of dogs and cats and provides veterinary care to as many as 30,000. Our subsidized Spay/Neuter Clinic has performed procedures on approximately 150,000 cats and dogs, greatly reducing the number of surplus kittens and puppies.

Our Adoption Process...

The SF SPCA believes in an adoption approach that considers important details for finding the right fit, such as a person's home, interests and lifestyle. We then match those with an animal's social, exercise and training needs.

Unlike “pass/fail” application programs, we strive to match people and animals through education and discovery. We accomplish this through conversation to create an effective, pleasant adoption experience — and most important — to make lasting matches.

Each situation, adopter and animal requires a different approach. And while we reserve the right to refuse an adoption, we always make every effort to work with you to address concerns or find the most appropriate companion animal.

Please plan on spending at least one hour for the adoption process — we’re confident that you’ll agree that this small investment of time will be well worth the countless hours of enjoyment that will result from finding “the perfect match.”
