Zoey's Story...
This sweet little girl is Zoey and she is looking for her forever family. Zoey is a timid dog that takes a while to warm up to new people but once she does all she wants to do is jump up on you and smother you in doggie kisses. Zoey needs an adult only home that is patient and able to work with her to gain her trust. She will be required to be signed up for positive reward based classes which will help her with her confidence and socialization. Zoey seems to like other dogs but isn't so sure of them so another respectful, confident dog that can help ease her fears would be okay. A confident cat should be alright. Zoey is an affectionate, loving dog that deserves a wonderful home. If you are interested in meeting Zoey, please fill out an application at customer service.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
