Hi my name is Kirby. I am a neat little guy trying to adjust to years of being tied outside. I am a work in progress I guess you would say. I am a dachshund mix with some kind of terrier. I am 8 years old and weigh in at about 18 lbs. and looking for that strong leader type person. Someone that knows not to let me rule the roost. I am a mighty hunter, and no mouse is safe in your yard, well if I can catch them, they are not safe! I am looking for someone with a fenced yard where I can run out and role in the leaves. I am a bit of an escape artist when it comes to fences, but really do not run away. I run around until I am tired and then come home. Guessing that is not too safe for me. I love to go on walks and car rides. Would do best in a quiet adult home without a lot of people coming and going. I have learned to use the doggy door and to stay in the invisible fence at my foster home. I do love to snuggle under the covers in bed. If you think I might be the boy for you, please fill out an application below. Hope to see you soon, Kirby
