Meet Hobo! He is not your typical pitbull mix dog… We are not sure what else he's got in him, but whatever it is it makes him lower energy and pretty chill. He is no couch potato, but definitely not the high energy you might expect from a younger pup just born in October 2014. His demeanor is amazingly friendly and happy, especially in light of how he came to be at Wags and Whiskers. Hobo seems to have had a rough start in life, and wandered into a shelter volunteer's yard in Arkansas. He was severely underweight, and recovering from being shot in at the tail and rear end. While one leg is stronger than the other, and he runs a little crooked… it hasn't slowed him down and he is still extremely happy to walk and run with you! Hobo loves his squeaky toys, snuggles and kisses and he's great at giving hugs. And at 45 pounds he's the perfect size! He enjoys kids and desperately wants to play with the resident cat. Although the cat is still deciding on how she feels about him!
He's never excited to go in his kennel - but once in, he doesn't make a peep! He's house trained, and crate trained. And his foster family is doing additional work on commands and recall.
