Hobo is about one year old, weighs fifteen pounds, and has tested negative for heartworms. He loves anyone he meets, both human and canine. We think he has therapy dog potential, or at least snuggle buddy potential! He likes toys and for you to sit on the ground with him, is very loving, and needs someone to play with! He would do well with a young couple or in a family with children.
Hobo was dumped out in the country, fortunately near a home with two compassionate people who took him in and contacted us. They took great care of him in the meantime and told us that although he takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, he already knows how to Sit, Shake, and Come. He enjoyed his bath, brushing, and even nail-trimming.
If Hobo sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please submit an application! He will be ready for adoption in one week, after he has been neutered.
In order to be considered for the adoption process, please fill out the adoption pre-interview form located HERE. This form MUST be COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED before inquiring about adoption. A representative from EMAR will respond in a timely manner.
Adoption fees vary per animal based on age, breed, expenses, etc.
