Annie's Story...
Meet Annie
A very special bonded pair!!
Oliver, a handsome 4-year-old yellow boy and Annie, the sweetest ever 2-year-old reddish brown girl. They are best friends and love each other a lot and really need to stay together. Both are super sweet, super nice and super gentle. They are both low/medium energy, housetrained, crate trained, have wonderful house manners and are such a joy to be around. Oliver weighs about 55 lbs. and Annie is about 45 lbs. Annie is the most shy and a bit timid and relies on Oliver for support. She just needs a wonderful home that will help her build confidence. Annie has the greatest smile and will warm your heart. Oliver is a low-key boy and loves everyone They are both great with other dogs and with the kitties. They would be a great fit for the empty nester needing to fill a void, or the single person with lots of love to give. Oliver and Annie are both altered, heartworm free, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. If you would be interested in hearing more about this bonded pair, please go to our website, www.luckylabrescue.com, complete an online application and indicate 'Oliver and Annie' in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
