My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nalla is a gorgeous short hair calico on white. She is the mother of 5 kittens, (Rafiki, Timone, Kion, Mufasa, Kiara). The little family was found outside an abandoned home. They were all desperately hungry, as Nalla had no milk to feed her babies. They were all without shelter, infested with fleas, and in need of emergency rescue. We are grateful to the kind souls who discovered them, had started to feed them, and contacted our sanctuary.

Nalla cannot be very old. She is a very small girl. We estimate that she was born January 2016, and this was her first litter. We tested her for feline leukemia/FIV, got her and her family some hearty food, water, and flea meds, her first set of vaccines, spayed her, and she got her 1 year rabies vaccine. She is recovering nicely, still eating everything we put in front of her, but as she realizes there will always be food available to her, she will adjust her intake.

Nalla is very sweet, and is so very grateful to be safe, warm, and fed. Her kittens are all listed separately, and all are estimated to have been born 8/28/16. So we don't know how long this sweet momma had been foraging for food before the her kind rescuers found her and started feeding everyone. Her kittens are all healthy, although a bit underweight, so considering her circumstance she did an amazing job of keeping them fed and alive.

She is available for adoption, and she must be an INDOOR only kitty. She deserves a warm, safe, loving, indoor, forever home of her own. We do require a veterinarian reference prior to scheduling an adoption visit. We require a cat carrier be brought to the adoption visit for transport home. NO Exceptions.

She will need an additional round of booster vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $75, including the boosters from our veterinarian when they are due.
