1) I am nervous here; I may be more playful when I'm comfortable at home 2) I love to be petted and touched. You can pet me anytime. I may even ask to be petted 3) My previous family had children and I got along with them 4) I had doggy friends in my previous home 5) I had kitty friends in my previous home 6) You can expect me to shed a bit; frequent brushing will help 7) I am front-paw declawed 8) See exam comments in regards to litterbox 9) It takes me time to warm up to new people; at first I am nervous 10) I am ready to find my forever family!

About Our Shelter...
The Michigan Humane Society is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year. We have three animal care centers in the Metro area including locations in Detroit, Westland and Rochester Hills, as well as cat adoption centers in PetSmart stores in several locations and an adoption center at Petco in Sterling Heights. You are sure to find the perfect pet at one of our adoption locations!

Our Adoption Process...
We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.
