Grace's Story...
This precious little 8 month old pup as of 10/16 was found by the side of the road. She only weighs 3.5 lbs She looks like a terrier mix. She is a little shy but loves to be held and cuddled. She will need leash/harness training and house training. Because she is so tiny, she will also need a family with no small children. She is going to be a great companion for someone, she gets along with other dogs and is just the sweetest girl.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care. Our adoption application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace, a Bedminster Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
