Bear (Neutered)'s Story...
Bear (Neutered)'s Story...
"Bear" is a handsome 5-year old male Shepherd mix who arrived at the HSOV on October 12, 2016 by a Good Samaritan who brought him to the safety of our shelter along with "Ranger" (a 9-year old black neutered male Labrador Retriever. mix). Both of these boys were wearing collars with their names written on them, but unfortunately there wasn't a phone number, dog tag, or id tag to enable us to locate their owner .. So we are hoping that someone will recognize them or that their owner will see their pictures on our petfinder/facebook postings. "Bear" has a tan short smooth coat with white markings on his chest/legs, a long tail, and a beautiful face with a slender muzzle and large erect ears. This gorgeous guy was a pleasure to be with and to photograph. "Bear" has a happy, friendly personality and was the perfect gentleman when one of our kennel techs had him outdoors for his photo session. He walks well on a leash and enjoys attention. "Bear" weighs 67.2 lbs., and he has already been neutered. He is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed.
We are a non-profit shelter giving refuge to homeless and abandoned animals in Washington County Ohio. We strive to make their time here as comfortable as possible. We work very hard with our rescue groups to move our animals quickly and safely. We do this because we work for those who have no voice.
Rescue groups are encouraged to contact our Canine Rescue Coordinator (email@example.com) or Feline Rescue Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org)
