Oliver (Neutered)'s Story...
"Oliver" is a darling 6-year old male Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered by his owner on October 5, 2016 along with several of his companions who shared his previous home. This handsome boy has a black short smooth coat with a white blaze on his chest, rather short legs, a long body, a long tail, and an adorable face with large floppy ears. "Oliver" has a quiet disposition and a friendly personality. He is being listed as a 'Special Needs Dog' since he appears to have an old injury to his right hind leg and has a little trouble walking :( "Oliver" made a noble effort with one of our kind kennel techs and posed so sweetly for his preliminary petfinder/facebook photos. He will be examined by a vet in the near future. "Oliver" weighs 42 lbs. He has been neutered and has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver (Neutered), a Marietta Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
