PATCHY's Story...
They travel too much.
My name is Patchy and this is my story. I am so so sad right now. I had a great home for a long time. Then one day they brought me here. I hear that they are traveling all over. Did I mention that I like to travel also. Well anyway. I am a diabetic cat that need insulin twice a day. I know what you are thinking, well that just to much work to give that cat a shot twice a day. Well what do you think I think. I am the one that gets the shots. I still have a lot of years left I am only eight years old. Did I mention that I am front declawed. I want a second chance so please come and take a look at me. I just know that one look at me and the purr I give you you will think that I am worth the two shots a day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PATCHY, a Sioux City Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Sioux City, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Sioux City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sioux City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sioux City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sioux City paves the way for another one to be saved.
