Simpson (Neutered)'s Story...
"Simpson" is a 13-year old male Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered by his owner on October 5, 2016 along with his five companions who shared his previous home. "Simpson" has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a sweet Labrador face with large floppy ears. He was so excited to be outdoors with one of his new best friends (HSOV kennel tech/humane officer Todd Hallock) who helped him with his petfinder/facebook photos. "Simpson" has some skin issues with a few patches of sparse fur (which could be caused by a flea allergy). He is a happy guy with a nice personality. "Simpson" weighs 50 lbs. He was neutered on October 20, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simpson (Neutered), a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
