Thalia's Story...
"Thalia" is a beautiful 4-year old female Chihuahua who was surrendered by her owner on October 7, 2016. This little sweetheart has a tan-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable Chihuahua face with a white stripe on her muzzle/forehead and large erect ears. Her previous owner told us that "Thalia" was good with other dogs, children, and cats. She has been kept indoors and is house-trained on puppy pads. "Thalia" is understandably nervous and unsure of her new surroundings since she was accustomed to having the freedom of her own home and is now in a small cage by herself.:( We are giving her extra TLC and dong our best to make her feel welcome, but what she really needs is another home where she will be loved and spoiled. "Thalia" weighs 11.4 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thalia, a Marietta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
