Wynn (Neutered)'s Story...
"Wynn" is a handsome adult male Terrier mix who arrived at the HSOV on October 14, 2016 after he was picked up on Wynncrest Drive in Marietta Ohio by the Washington County Dog Warden. "Wynn" has an auburn short smooth coat with a patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a darling face with a slender muzzle and large erect ears. This little boy was pretty intimidated being in an unfamiliar place and wasn't quite ready to pose for outdoor photos. "Wynn" wags his tail as though he wants attention but is apprehensive about accepting it :( He is a fairly small dog who weighs perhaps 25 lbs. We hope that his owner sees his photos on our Petfinder/Facebook pages (or someone recognizes him) since he really wants to go home :) "Wynn" is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed. "Wynn" was neutered on October 19, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wynn (Neutered), a Marietta Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
