Burt is the sweetest little guy! He came into ACS with an injured back leg & multiple scars! Our vet thinks he may have been mauled, but he is doing much better. He still needs a bit of down time but he is not letting his leg slow him down. He is still the happiest little guy & loves everyone! He has started walking on his injured leg & I expect a full recovery soon! He is still a puppy & is learning how to live inside, which includes house training. He will not be a large dog, my guess is max 20lbs. Come and meet your new family member!
He was scheduled to be euthanized, but San Antonio Pets Alive! saved him and now they are helping him find the forever, loving home that he has never known.
He is currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive!, and is in a foster home. By adopting him, you not only give him a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care.
If you are interested in adopting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with Pet name and ID#. Please allow us up to 24 hours to respond as all fosters work with us on a volunteer basis.
