Meet Ritchie!           DOB: September 2012

Ritchie was rescued from a life on the streets, as he would constantly come to the back door of a family home in the Oshawa area and beg for food and try to get into the house when the door was opened to give him food. Ritchie is an attractive orange tabby with captivating green eyes and the gentlest fun loving purrsonality. He has adapted extremely quickly to life in the shelter and adjusted very well to having his meals served to him along with   unconditional “luvings & pettings” provided by the volunteers. Ritchie is a super friendly, social, attention seeking cuddler who loves to be fused over, held and happily accepts any attention that is directed his way. Excellent with his roommates, Ritchie would be an amazing addition to any family and would make the most awesome companion. If you want to be the one to show Ritchie what it is like to have a “furever” home and family, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
