Stitch (Neutered)'s Story...
"Stitch" is a charismatic 5-month old male kitten who made his debut at the HSOV on October 8, 2016 along with his brothers (Lil Red and Milo) after the boys were found in Marietta Ohio. "Stitch" has an orange short smooth coat in a swirled tabby pattern, white markings on his chest/paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with a pink nose and dark golden eyes. He has a happy, playful personality and quickly had our photographer wrapped around his cute little paws. "Stitch" was given vaccinations and wormer on October 8, 2016. He will be available for adoption as soon as he is neutered (at no cost to his new family). Naturally we'd love to see "Stitch" and his brothers find a home as a trio UPDATE: "Stitch" was neutered on October 19, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 4.4 lbs. on that date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stitch (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
