Here is your chance to adopt APA's favorite tripod! Grizzly arrived at APA with an atrophied front leg that needed to be removed. But now that he's adjusted to life on three legs, he's showing us that he's ready to adjust to life with his new family.
Grizzly has been living in an APA foster home, and it's clear that he's got the goods to make a quick transition to his new forever home. He's potty-trained and non-destructive when left alone. He also knows his basic commands. He enjoys walking, and his leash behavior is quite good. He's still a young adult, and enjoys romping around with his favorite toys. But when it's time to calm down, he likes a nice couch where he can relax.
Looking for a little love in your life? Grizzly is a happy, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle up for some petting. He can take some time to warm up to new people, but once he does he is a friendly, sweet dog. Grizzly can be a bit protective of himself and his favorite toys, so he would probably do best in a dog-savvy home with a family who has previously owned a pooch. But we think he'll make a great long-term companion for any lucky home!
Sound like a winner? We agree! Shake a leg and come to APA to meet this fun dog. And don't forget that APA's behavioral team will be available to help with any questions. Plus, remember that when you adopt you'll also let us free up space so that another dog can join us at APA! If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
