South Park Kittens's Story...
These adorable 'South Park Kittens' were brought to the HSOV on October 10, 2016 after they were found in Marietta Ohio without their mother :( They were estimated to be 6-weeks old at that time. There are three boys (Kenny, Kyle and Stan) and one girl (Wendy). Kenny and Kyle are identical twins with jet black short smooth coats. Stan and Wendy have black-and-white short smooth coats. They are happy, playful youngsters who enjoy life to the fullest and are sharing a cage for companionship. They were given vaccinations and wormer on October 10, 2016.. Kenny, Kyle, Stan, and Wendy will be available for adoption when they are old enough to be spayed/neutered. They are available for foster/rescue at any time. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters. UPDATE: "Kenny Kyle Stan & Wendy" were spayed/neutered on November 9, 2016. "Stan & Wendy" have been adopted together, but "Kenny & Kyle" are still waiting on a home (hopefully together as well).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

South Park Kittens, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
