Bellamy's life began born o utside with no shelter, no guaranteed meals, no human family. She only had her mom and siblings, living from day to day looking for food and a dry place to sleep. After Bellamy was trapped, one of Tabby Tales' volunteers took her in. She was so frightened she would not eat and trembled for days. The foster spent hours sitting with her several times a day, trying to win her trust. Within about a week, she realized she was safe and slowly began to open up and relax. Over the last month Bellamy has made an amazing transformation. She now sleeps at night with her foster parents and loves to play with the other kitties. She was frightened in the beginning of the dog, but will now play near him without fear. Bellamy is looking for a family that understands cats. It may take her a little while to warm up to you, once she realizes you mean no harm. When she wears herself out with playtime, she will snuggle in your lap and take a nap, many times making kitty biscuits with the blanket.
