Kiki's Story...
Kiki is a playful 4-5 month, 9.5 pound Chiweenie! She is a total love bug! She is great with other dogs. She likes kids and all people. She loves going on walks and even likes to run a bit. She enjoys snuggling and likes to sleep on your lap or be held like a baby. She also likes playing with other dogs.

She knows the command sit and is learning stay. She is eager to learn and responsive to training with treats. As she is a puppy, she has burst of energy and then needs a nap. She is pretty playful and will play with toys or with other dogs. She loves walks and it’s a good way to get her energy out!

Kiki is a great girl with a sweet side!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiki, a New York Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in New York, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
