Meet Gatsby!           DOB: March 2015

Gatsby came to NTCR as an owner surrender with his mom Penny when their owner, due to unforeseen life changing events, could no longer keep them. A dapper long haired tuxedo with the fluffiest tail, cutest little ear tuffs, an adorable pink nose, huge white paws and the most wonderful friendly purrsonality. Adapting easily to life in the shelter, Gatsby is an attention seeking, energetic, fun loving, playful fella who is usually the first to greet you. Gatsby is known to be an escape artist, as his curiosity about the rest of the shelter often has him waiting at the door for the chance to explore.  He enjoys human contact and is happiest when he is receiving belly rubs, petting and has your undivided attention. Good with other cats, especially his mom Penny, Gatsby would make a wonderful new BFF for any family.  If you want to give this charming fella, the “furever” home and family he deserves, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
